ABOUT THE ROLE:
They’re seeking a Civil Engineer / Civil Designer to join their growing team at their Marietta corporate office. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and completing civil design plans for projects involving site development, transportation, and utility infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of commercial and public-sector projects while working alongside an experienced and collaborative engineering team.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Responsible for land development and site design tasks for residential, industrial, retail, healthcare, educational, and recreational projects. Duties include conceptual site layout, grading design, utility and roadway design, soil erosion and sedimentation control, permitting and entitlement support, and construction-phase assistance.
Analyze maps, surveys, and topographical data to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Support project documentation, design calculations, and permitting submittals.
Apply industry standards and best practices to all design activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of civil design experience in industrial, municipal, or federal projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).
Experience with Revit (preferred).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
