  • P&L Responsibility: Led Accenture’s Midwest Market Unit’s Resources Industry Strategy & Consulting business. Spearheaded $275M+ in revenue annually generated from sales across the breadth of the firm’s solutions, offerings, and functional domains including finance, customer sales and services, supply chain and operations, talent and people, applied intelligence, and technology.

  • Cost Transformation: Established a multiyear partnership with a global glass manufacturer on a strategic cost transformation program focused on strengthening the company’s cost structure to drive margin improvement. Combined strategy and operations capabilities to drive $77M in indirect savings and an additional $50M in annual direct cost reductions; Savings were used fund to investments in the company’s disruptive manufacturing technology, and release cash to reduce debt.

  • M&A: Advised a global energy company across multiple transactions totaling more than $5B; successfully divested pipeline, terminals, refining and retail assets. The divestitures reshaped the company’s North America Refining and Fuels business, better aligning the portfolio with its oilfield production asset base.

  • People Leadership: Developed the Talent and People Strategy for a team of 200+ technology professionals, including performance management, mentoring and coaching, training and development, thought leadership, and community building. Leveraged experience across professional services firms to build an extensive leadership network. Partner, Community, Energy & Infrastructure

Served as the client account lead for a portfolio of energy industry clients. Responsible for driving revenue growth by focusing on multiyear strategic partnerships as well as integrated selling across service offerings, Accountable for a personal sales target of $10M annually.

• Led an engagement for a multi-state electric utility serving more than 5 million customers to assess its wildfire mitigation strategies and work practices. The result was the development of the utilities first integrated, organization-wide wildfire risk management, mitigation and monitoring framework.

• Led an engagement to support a transmission only utility in the development of their first resiliency plan which is to be filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Texas

Managing Director, North America Chemicals and Industry Strategy

Led a consulting practice of $275M in annual revenue. Served as the talent and people lead for more than 200+ professionals. Creator of go to market strategy, nurtured sales and creation of pipeline, and offered services that were relevant to the market. Accountable for a personal sales target of $25M annually.

• Led a multiyear partnership with a global glass manufacturer on an enterprise transformation focused on

strengthening the company’s cost structure to drive margin improvement, fund growth initiatives,

and release cash to reduce debt. Co-created a new operating model that simplified the client’s organizational structure. Identified $37M - $77M in savings opportunities across 13 spend categories. Identified $30M -$50M in annual organizational cost reductions.

• Collaborated on a multiyear partnership with a chemical distribution company to address year declining sales and drive incremental contribution margin by transforming their selling organization and building out their customer analytics and digital capabilities. The result improved the company’s net income by ~4.5% after the first year.

• Led a rapid-execution cost reduction for a $5B multinational food and beverage packaging company. Reviewed direct and indirect spending across its 3 primary business units and corporate/shared services organizations, identifying potential $50M - $100M in savings opportunities or 10% - 20% of the addressable spend.

Equity Partner/Principal, Transaction Advisory Services (Full range of M&A Issues)

Provided strategic and operational advisory services to lead global commercial firms across M&A transaction lifecycle, with a focus on Manufactured Products, Energy, and Automotive industries. Achieved a personal portfolio in excess of

$20M. Delivered it across the portfolio of audit and non-audit clients. Managed a group of 100 professionals.

• Advised a Materials Technology Firm on the separation considerations including legal entity standup, Day 1 readiness, operating model design, stand-alone cost structure, one-time separation costs, and transition services agreements for a ~$2B tax-free spin-off.

• Oversaw the buy-side integration planning and transition services agreements for the acquisition of a $500M Produce Distribution Company for a strategic buyer.

• Consulted on a buy-side carve out of a multinational thermal and emission parts manufacturer across a series of transactions totaling $250M+ in deal value.

A $5B global strategy firm that was acquired by PwC April 2014, and is PwC’s strategy and consulting business unit.

Provided strategic and business performance improvement advice to leading commercial firms with a particular focus on energy and financial services. Specialties included strategic planning, operational restructuring, corporate services design, transaction support, strategic sourcing, and information technology strategy.

• Led the corporate restructuring for an industrial manufacturing client, driving $300M+ in savings across its corporate services organization. Developed new operating models for three newly defined natural business units based on customer willingness to pay by segment. Realized ~$350M in synergies on an addressable cost base of

~$900M. Achieved a first wave of cost reduction (~30% of SG&A) within 8 months.

• Led business process and technology impact assessment on $5B+ in transactions on divestiture of an oil super major’s North American refining, pipeline and terminal assets.

• Directed an effort to identify $75M in overhead cost reduction opportunities for a Global Energy Company and restructured the corporate functions.
