About the role
The Business Development Manager position will be responsible for new business development, including generating revenue from new and existing accounts. This position will manage inbound and outbound leads, including qualification, upselling, and relationship building. In addition, the Inside Sales Representative will work cross functionally with Engineering and Sales teams. This is a key role to help their company grow and increase their market share.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in business development roles selling B2B solutions and services
A strong network of clients in the oil & gas industry
Experience with the consultative sales approach in analyzing challenges of potential clients and conveying ROI and TCO concepts to CXO level management
Good understanding of oil and gas industry business environments, issues and the trends affecting technology spend
A track record of achieving annual sales quotas
Experience with Sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and related CRM tools
Demonstrated commitment to stay abreast of industry trends and technical advancements within the industry sectors and enterprise markets
Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive sales culture
High level of personal and professional integrity
