About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Project Manager with a strong background in road & bridge construction projects to join a growing team in the Indianapolis area. Our ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates excellent communication skills, is highly organized, is a great problem solver, is very efficient, and has strong attention to detail & time management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing budgets, ensuring adherence to safety standards, coordinating subcontractors and delivering projects on time. Excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage bridge and road construction projects from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor project progress and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members to meet project goals.
Develop project leads.
Coordinate and manage all projects, and activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports, is completed accurately and on time
Work Environment:
As a Project Manager, the employee will be subject to an office and job site/field setting. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking and indoor/outdoor settings.
Travel:
To and from job sites is required. Our client will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Construction or Civil Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in managing bridge and road construction and be knowledgeable of project management principles.
Understanding of construction methods, materials, codes and costs
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Experience with Self-Performing or Specialty Contractor
Familiarity with construction management software
Technology:
Proficient with Microsoft Software- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficient in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam)
